PURPOSE:To decide quickly a fault state without complicating the operations by securing an automatic switch of a CRT screen to a fault state diagnosis screen when a fault occurs. CONSTITUTION:A central processor 7 provided within a numerical controller main body 2 controls a machine tool 1 and an operation board 3. When a fault occurs, the processor 7 switches automatically a CRT display part 5 to a fault state diagnosis screen by a screen switching program stored in a memory area 11 within a memory area 8. In such a way, a fault state can be decided quickly without complicating operations and also with no inconvenience such as misoperations, etc. |
