PURPOSE:To attain a teaching action separately from an industrial robot through a simple operation by using a color graphic display device and a transmissive analog touch panel sensor, etc. to perform a conversational teaching action. CONSTITUTION:A group of start/end points is first supplied to a start/end point input device 1 and then stored to a memory 7. At the same time, this point group is also delivered to an arithmetic circuit 9. The circuit 9 delivers the point group to a coordinate conversion circuit 10 and draws pictures on a color graphic display device 3 to deliver a message to an operator to urge selection of both start and end points. Then the two selected points are drawn on the display 3, and a message is given to the operator to draw a route with his/her fingers. Thus the operator draws a route between start and end points at an optional speed, a touch data input device 6 supplies the output signals of a transmissive analog touch panel sensor 5 at a fixed interval and converts these signals into a coordinate system of the display 3 to produce the route data. This data is delivered to the circuit 10. |
