<p>The process consists in mixing in a receptacle at least 2 components chosen from: a) a superwhite brilliant base containing: - from 15 to 30 parts by volume of at least one white opacifying pigment (A), and - from 70 to 85 parts by volume of at least one binder (B) (b) a superwhite matt base containing: - the same number of parts by volume of pigment (A) as the superwhite brilliant base, - from 15 to 25 parts by volume of at least one nonopacifying filler (C), and - from 45 to 70 parts by volume of at least one binder (B) (c) a colourless brilliant base comprising at least one binder (B) but comprising neither pigment (A) nor filler (C), (d) a colourless matt base containing: - as many parts by volume of filler (C) as the superwhite matt base contains parts by volume of pigment (A) and of filler (C) and - the remainder to 100 parts by volume of at least one binder (B), the said mixture comprising at least one of the two superwhite bases. The apparatus comprises 4 plunger metering pumps of the same geometry, each being fed from a storage vessel and equipped, at its delivery, with a pipe distributing the metered component into the mixing receptacle, each metering pump being assigned to each base capable of forming one of the components of the mixture, and is characterised in that it comprises means (M) acting on the stroke of the plungers of the metering pumps, to adjust in relation to each other the quantities of bases delivered by the said metering pumps, so that the total volume delivered by the set of the 4 metering pumps remains constant.</p> |
