PURPOSE:To attain the stable supply of power to a system without reducing the lifetime of a storage battery nor increasing the power loss, by using a power detector, a charge/discharge controller, a power limit control circuit, an upper/ lower limit setter, etc. CONSTITUTION:The output voltage of a solar battery 1 is supplied to a voltage control circuit 11 via a voltage detector 9, etc., and the supply of power is controlled to a system 4. This supply of power to the system 4 is detected by a power detector 5 and supplied to a power limit control circuit 12. When the output of the battery 1 is reduced less than the lower limit level set by a lower limit level setter 13a, a charge/discharge controller 8 controls the discharge amount via a deviation amplifier 14a so as to secure the supply of power held at the lower limit level. While the charge amount is controlled by the controller 8 via a deviation amplifier 14b so as to secure the supply of power kept at the upper limit level in case the output of the battery 1 exceeds the upper limit level set by an upper limit level setter 13b. In such a way, the stable supply of power is secured to the system 4 without reducing the lifetime of a storage battery nor increasing the power loss. |
