<p>PURPOSE:To improve the operability by utilizing an under-cut operation so as to reduce damage to a magnetic tape and a rotary cylinder. CONSTITUTION:When a switch SW26 is turned on, a power is supplied to a VTR from an AC power supply, a capacitor C31 is charged, and when the SW26 is turned off, the C31 is discharged and a transistor (TR)33 is turned on. After the SW26 is turned on to off, the power is applied to the VTR via a bypass circuit 27 by using a constant voltage V2 via a regulator 25 during a time t1. When the SW26 is turned on to off, the VTR detects that the power voltage is lower than a voltage VC and applies under-cut operation. After power is applied to the VTR with a voltage V2 for a time t1 sufficient for the completion of the under-cut operation from an external power supply, the TR33 is turned off, the power supply path from an input 34 of the bypass circuit 27 to an output 35 is cut off and the power supply to the VTR is stopped.</p> |
