PURPOSE:To grip surely a disc by storing discs with a lot of stacked units and forming incorporatedly a lot of slit groups provided corresponding to the stored position with the units to reduce the cost and to increase the storage amount. CONSTITUTION:The disc carrying units 17 storing discs are fitted to shafts 20, 21, 22 and a lot of them are stacked, and since the device shaping the units is made small in size, the cost is reduced, the number of units is increased to increase the number of storage amounts. A slit group corresponding to the disc storage position and a means for detecting it are provided and since the slit group 102 is provided integrally with the units 17, even when the storage section 16 is expanded due to thermal expansion, the slit is made coincident with the disc storage position. Thus, the disc grip means is gripped to stop the base 40 moved vertically to the storage position and the disc is gripped surely. |
