PURPOSE:To promote to generate the temperature layers of heat medium and improve the thermal efficiency of the heat accumulating tank by a method wherein a delivery pipe and a suction pipe are arranged and opened in a bag- type flow regulating device, suspended in the heat accumulating tank so that the openings of the device keep a predetermined space between the water surface of the heat accumulating tank at all times, in order not to suck air into the pipes. CONSTITUTION:The delivery pipe 8 and the suction pipe 9 are opened in the upper high-temperature layer of the heat accumulating tank 7, in which water 6 is stored as the heat medium, and the circumferences thereof are surrounded by the bag-type flow regulating device 10. The device 10 is suspended so that the opening 14 thereof keeps a predetermined space between the water surface of the tank at all times. Cold water or hot-water, discharged out of the delivery pipe 8, is reserved once in the device 10 and flows out into the tank 7 after the flow speed thereof upon being discharged is mitigated while the opening 14 is closed to the water surface 15 and is located in a given depth at all times, further, the opening area thereof is constant, therefore, mixing of water having different temperatures is restricted and the formation of the temperature layers may be promoted. On the other hand, in case the water is sucked up from the suction pipe 9, sucking is effected after the water is reserved in the device 10, therefore, disturbance of formation of the temperature layers may seldom be caused. |
