PURPOSE:To enhance the efficiency of a two wheel chamber and four branch stream exhaust type geothermal steam turbine, by arranging high pressure inlet port sections 4 are arranged for only two branch sterams of one of the wheel chambers, and by introducing one half of exhaust gas of the high pressure section through a moisture separator into the two branch stream low pressure exhaust section in the other wheel chamber. CONSTITUTION:Steam which is introduced from a main steam inlet pipe 6 into the inlet port of a first turbine 1 is divided into two streams for two branch steam inlet turbine cascades in a high pressure inlet section 4. Further a part of stream is extracted from the interstage in the intermediate section of the first turbine 1 through a steam extracting pipe 7, and as well, the remaining part of steam is directly introduced into four branch stream exhaust section cascades in the low pressure exhaust section 5 of the first turbine 1. Further, steam from the steam extracting pipe 7 is introduced into moisture separators 8 to remove moisture therefrom, and thereafter, is introduced into the inlet port of a second turbine 2 through an outlet steam pipe 9, and is then divided into two streams to be introduced into four branch stream exhaust section cascades in the low pressure exhaust section 5. With this arrangement, the volumetric flow of steam and the humidity in the turbine are improved to enhance the internal efficiency of the steam turbine. |
