PURPOSE:To obtain a rotational vibration isolating device which may be commonly adapted to various thin-walled cylinders having slightly different inner diameters and may be easily inserted in and removed from the cylinders, by utilizing an air bag designed to come into uniformly tight-contact with the entire circumference of an inner wall of the thin-walled cylinder. CONSTITUTION:The rotational vibration isolating device is applied to a thin- walled cylinder 5 such as a plate shell of a gravure printing machine. The plate shell 5 is constituted of a cylindrical portion 5a and end plates 5b welded to both ends of the cylindrical portion 5a. An air bag 1 is an axially elongated cylindrical bag formed of rubber-like elastic materials. The air bag 1 is provided with an air valve 2 at one end thereof. After exhausting the inside air of the air bag 1, the air bag 1 is inserted into the thin-walled cylinder 5. After inserting the air bag 1, pressure air is supplied through the air valve 2 into the air bag 1 to expand the same. Thus, the air bag 1 is brought into tight contact with the inner surface of the cylindrical portion 5a. Removal of the air bag 1 from the cylinder may be carried out after exhausting the inside air of the air bag 1. |
