PURPOSE:To prevent leakage of grease through simple control, by a method wherein, after completion of pouring of grease, through rotational slide of a boot, two grease pouring pores are displaced from each other, and the outer peripheries thereof are tightened by a tightening band. CONSTITUTION:A large size side engaging end 4 of a rotary shaft is engaged with a large size side end 2 of a boot JB, and a shaft 6 with a small size side end 3. A slide projection 2a of the boot JB is rotatably slid within an engaging groove 5 in a rotary shaft 4 to interengage a grease pouring pore 2c on the boot side and a grease pouring pore 7 on the joint device side. After a required amount of grease is poured to the interior with the aid of a grease gun, the engaged part of the boot is displaced to bring a through-hole into a shut-off state, and grooves 2b and 3b for tightening band in the ends on both sides of the boot are tightened by means of an engaging projection tightening band 9 for fastening. |
