PURPOSE:To prevent human body from feeling a sense of incongruity by a method wherein conditioned air is choked so as to blow it against a spot upon starting air conditioning and the air is blown against the human body directly to obtain temporary cooling or heating effect while airflow, diffused and slowed down, is blown off at all times in usual. CONSTITUTION:In the blow-off port, provided with tubular structure of inner and outer double tubes and varying the arriving distance as well as the degree of dispersion of blow-off air by changing the ratio of airflow amount or airflow speed of airflow passing through a gap between both inner and outer tubes 4, 3 as well as the airflow passing through the inner tube 4, the inner tube 4 is mounted in the outer tube 3 coaxially and rotatably in the axial direction thereof. The rotation of a rotary damper 5, accommodated in the inner tube 4, is effected in conjunction with the rotary motion of the inner tube 4 by a mechanism consisting of the combination of a gear 11, fitted to the shaft 10 of the rotary damper 5, and the gear 8, provided along the circumferential direction of the inner tube 4 so as to be engaged with the gear 11. According to this method, conditioned air may be choked so as to blow against a spot or may be diffused slowly. |
