PURPOSE:To form a uniform image by providing numbers of fins on the surface of a developing sleeve in the lengthwise direction of the sleeve and slanting them so that rear ends are higher than the axis of the developing sleeve which slants to the horizon. CONSTITUTION:The blade 14 is provided at the upstream side of fins 16 closely in parallel to the sleeve 13 so that toner is carried smoothly to the development part of the sleeve 13. The toner is leveled on the sleeve 13 by the blade to uniform layer thickness. The interval x1 between the blade 14 and sleeve 13 is set smaller than the toner layer thickness on the sleeve 13 in front of the blade 14 so as to uniform the layer thickness of the toner on the sleeve 13 securely. The toner is pressed and spread upward in the axial direction of the sleeve 13 by the blade 14 and if there is a proper amount of toner above the front end 16b of fins 16 at an upward side at this time, the toner is moved up on the while, thereby obtaining the uniform amount of toner over the entire surface of the sleeve 13 at the development part. |
