PURPOSE:To operate the titled camera easily and remotely at low cost on a wireless basis by providing the camera body with a transmitter which generates an electromagnetic wave by a high voltage generating device and a receiver which receives the electromagnetic wave. CONSTITUTION:The camera body 1 is equipped with the detachable transmitter 5 which generates the electromagnetic wave by the high voltage generating device for generating a high voltage by applying an impact to a piezoelectric element, and also includes the receiver which receives the electromagnetic wave. When an impact part 10 moves associatively with an operation button 6, spark discharge is caused at a discharge gap 8 with the high voltage and the electromagnetic wave is transmitted by a transmitting antenna 7. This electromagnetic wave is received by a receiving antenna 4 and made into an electric signal by a demodulating circuit 13, driving the shutter through a switching circuit 14. Consequently, the camera is operated easily and remotely on a wireless basis at low cost.
