PURPOSE:To improve the operability by providing a slot to the bottom of a case while forming the shape of bottom not flat but in parallel in the operation progressing direction of a copying machine. CONSTITUTION:A window 5 of a copying machine 1 is pressed to a position of an original 2 desired to copy, a start part 4 of the copying machine 1 is pressed onto the original 2 by one hand and fixed and other hand moves the copying machine 1 in parallel toward the arrow A. The shape of the bottom of a copying machine case 11 is not made flat but in parallel with the operation progressing direction of the copying machine and a slot 12 is provided to the bottom of the case 11. The slot 12 is provided in parallel with and at a right angle to the progressing direction B of the case 11. Then the window 5 is formed by utilizing a part of the slot 12. Thus, the contact area between the copying machine 1 and the original 2 is decreased and the sliding resistance is made small in moving the copying machine and not so much force is required.
