PIEZOELECTRIC ELECTROACOUSTIC TRANSDUCER

PURPOSE:To attain prevention of discharge for a receiver by forming a front chamber with an electric insulator and using an electric insulation film fixed so as to cover the sound discharge hole made to the front chamber via a thin airlayer. CONSTITUTION:The front chamber 34 of the electroacoustic transducer is provided between the front chamber plate 35 and a vibrator 31 and formed with an electric insulator such as ABS resin. The front chamber plate 35 is formed with a discharge sound hole 36, a sound leakage hole 37 and a ring form projection 38. In mounting the converter 53 to a handset of a telephone set, the electric insulation film 54 is inserted between an annular projection 55 formed at the inside of the receiver 51 and the converter 53. Thus, no discharge takes place by covering a film 54 fixed on the sound discharge hole 36 through the air layer even when the user hooks off the handset and contacts the ear to the receiver hole while hooking off the device is charged into a high voltage.
