PURPOSE:To prevent the deformation of a bottom part, in adhering a base cup to the bottom part of a round-bottom unsaturated polyester bottle, by using a bottle of which the bottom part has a specific wall thickness and a specific draw ratio. CONSTITUTION:For example, a saturated polyester bottle 1, wherein a hot melt adhesive 3 is applied to the adhesive surface of a base cup 2 and the thickness of the bottom wall at the adhesive part of the bottom part is 0.25-0.55mm. and the product of the length and breadth draw ratios of the bottom wall is 8-14, is placed on the base cup 2 so as to inlay the bottom part thereof with said cup and a mouth stopcok part is pressed by a push rod 5 having an air passing port 4 to inject compressed air of 2-7kg/cm<2> gauge into the bottle from the air passing port while the bottle and the base cup are allowed to stand until the adhesive 3 is cooled and solidified to adhere the base cup 2 and the bottle 1. |
