PURPOSE:To successively press parts into a work by providing cams having large and small thrust forces on both sides of the cam having two holes on the same axis thereof and pressing the parts into one of said holes with the aid of the large thrust force cam while pressing them into the other hole with the aid of a difference between the thrust forces. CONSTITUTION:With bushes 2A, 2B being respectively inserted into large and small thrust force cams 5 and 6, a work 1 is placed on a table 14, and they are rotated to a prescribed position to adjust holes 1a, 1b to a hole 23d of a jig 23. Then, the work 1 is lifted by hydraulic cylinders 18, 19 and returned back to the original position by pulling the table 14. In succession, the work 1 is lowered by the cylinders 18, 19 and thereby a counterbore part 1e is fitted in a sleeve 23a of the jig 23. Then, the large thrust force cam 5 is lowered by the cylinder 9 to press the bush 2A thereinto. Keeping the pressurized state, the small thrust force cam 6 is elevated to press the bush 2B thereinto. With such arrangement, the parts can securely and effectively be pressed into the cams without needing to turn over the work. |
