PURPOSE:To store recording information even when power is disconnected by providing a sheet disc and a recording and reproducing head in a signal storage device to record and reproduce a signal and recording/reproducing a printed video signal on a recording and reproducing medium. CONSTITUTION:A video signal for one frame's share from an input terminal is recorded on a sheet disc 6 by a recording/reproducing head 7 via a recording/ reproducing switch 8 through the recording command. After the recording is finished, the recording/reproducing switch 8 is connected to the signal processing unit 2 by the print command and a recording/reproducing head 7 starts reproducing a frame signal recorded on the disc 6. The unit 2 uses an A/D converter 10 to convert sequentially the input reproducing signal into a digital signal and store it in aline memory 11 of the next stage. When one print information is stored in the memory 11, this signal is corrected by a signal correcting conversion circuit 12 of the next stage, converted into a pulse signal giving a density level of intermediate gradation and applied to a print head assembly 3, from which the signal is printed according to the gradation density in response to the input pulse width.
