PURPOSE:To produce a desired porous body by removing a filler within a short time, by using a filler comprising a chemically removable substance and a substance which can be scattered on it by adhesion or coating to form porous mass and give a number of continuous irregularities to the surface of the filler. CONSTITUTION:A principal material comprising at least a base material (e.g., polyurethane) and a filler is kneaded and molded. The filler is removed from the molding by treatment with a chemical such as an acid to produce a porous open-cellular body. Said filler comprises a substance (A) which can be removed by treatment with a chemical and a substance (B) which can be scattered on substance A by adhesion or coating to form poruos mass, wherein substance B can also be removed by treatment with the chemical, and gives a number of continuous irregularities to the surface of the filler.
