PURPOSE:In a small-sized device for preparing a necessary amount of solid CO2 as occasion demands, to secure a molding chamber, and to take out easily molded solid CO2, by improving a stopping means of the molding chamber of solid CO2. CONSTITUTION:The handle lever 31 is set on the cover 12 of the frame 4 forming a molding chamber, and part of the handle lever is provided with the dent 32 for holding the stopping means to take surely the stopping means 33, attached rotatably through the support 34 to the side plates 17, in the dent, so that a closed state is surely kept. When the stopping means 33 is taken in the dent 32, the cover 12 of the molding chamber is stuck fast to the frame 4, to complete the molding chamber. The productin unit for solid CO2 is integrated into the frame 4 having the structure, and liquid CO2 is jetted from a high pressure container having liquid CO2 through the nozzle 7 to the molding chamber. The liquid CO2 is adiabatically expanded, solid CO2 made into a snowy state is blended with geaseous CO2, fed to the molding chamber, the solid CO2 is accumulated and compression molded. When the lever 31 is pushed in the arrow direction, the stopping means 33 is released from the dent 32, and the prepared solid CO2 is easily taken out by removing the side plates 17. |
