<p>PURPOSE:To attain low power consumption of a converter by providing a transistor (TR) for current off/on in a resistance circuit network of a voltage dividing or a current shunting circuit and control signal to shut selectively a current in the resistance circuit network. CONSTITUTION:The voltage dividing or the current shunting circuit comprising series resistors R, 1/2R, 3/2R is provided to input bits B1-Bn of a CPU of a DA converter comprising a microprocessor IC via a transfer TRT1. A current cutoff MOSTRT0 is inserted between the voltage dividing or the current shunting circuit and a power supply VCC and a control signal CNT from the CPU is fed to a gate G of the TRT0. The control signal CNT is used as the switching signal of the gate G of the TRT0, the current in the voltage dividing or the current shunting circuit is conducted or shut according to the H level or the L level to reduce the power consumption of the converter.</p> |
