PURPOSE:To enhance surface potential and to improve resistances to printing, humidity, and abrasion by using a combination of a poly(meth)acrylate, and isocyanate compd., and an epoxy resin as a binder. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive layer is formed on a substrate by dispersing a phthalocyanine (PC) type photoconductor powder into a binder resin, such as poly(meth)acrylate having OH groups, an isocyanate compd., and an epoxy resin. For the PC type photoconductor, copper PC, metal-free PC, and their derivs. can be used. Such a photosensitive body has low induction effect, good gradation reproduction performance and photosentitivity, and stable photosensitivity during successive repeated uses, high physical strength, superior resistance to humidity and printing, further, good resistances to abrasion, solvents, and staining, an d it can maintain the quality of a copied image good even if the surface of the photosensitive layer is abraded by the contact and friction of a developing brush, transfer papers, and a cleaning blade, etc. |
