METHOD FOR REPAIRING UNDERGROUND PIPELINE

PURPOSE:To repair efficiently an underground pipeline by executing first packing of a resin into the joint part of the pipe then lining the inside surface of the pipe by forward and backward movements. CONSTITUTION:The section between the manholes A and B at both open ends of the underground pipeline 1 group is made repair unit for one section. A replacement pig 61, a resin traction pig 62 and a leveling pig 63 are pulled from one end of the empty pipe 11 to pack the resin into the joint part 11a of the pipe 11. The 1st pig, 2nd pig and 3rd pig for resin lining are then attached to the rope 3 and are pulled back and forth in the pipe 11. The underground pipeline is thus efficiently repaired.
