Profile strips for a window frame double glazing are cut short to permit insertion of an adjusting block and end stop block. The arrangement avoids mitre cutting of profile strips. The window frame (1) includes uprights (3) with an inwardly pointing rebate surface (4). The profile strip (6) upright web protrudes in front of the rebate surface. A plastics end block (10) has a groove (11) pointing towards the profile strip. An overflow edge (17) connects the drain trough (18). Condensate from the reservoir (16) flows via the trough and aperture (19) to atmosphere. An adjusting block (21) also supports the window pane. The adjusting block may be integral with the end block.
