Compounds of the formulae (I) …… wherein R and R1 are each hydrogen or alkyl; and Z is an organic diamine radical of the formula R2N-X-NR3, in which X is a hydrocarbyl radical or together with the two amino nitrogens forms a saturated heterocyclic ring and R2 and R3 are each H or alkyl; and salts of said compounds, including quaternary salts, useful as platelet aggregation inhibitory agents. The invention includes a process for the production of the new compounds and pharmaceutical compositions containing them as active ingredients.
