Contract bridge teaching aid and score-board - use special keyboard, video display, printer and computer with three inbuilt programs

One built-in program runs through the bidding and play of predetermined games for instruction purposes; another acts purley as a scoreboard for a game played with actual cards, while the third allows the users to make the bidding before returning to the instruction program. All programs are in BASIC language. The users communicate with the computer (4) via a keyboard (1) and associated ROM (2). The computer has access to a RAM (3) and produces outputs which can be fed to one or more display devices, i.e. a line printer (7) via a converter circuit (6), a video monitor (10) via a buffer memory (5) and a T.V. receiver (9) via the buffer memory (5) and high frequency converter (8). The keyboard has keys for North, South, East and West; suits and card ranks and for program selection.
