PURPOSE:To enable uniformly filling a uniform size cohesion in a metal mold using no solvent by vibrating a hopper which has a bottom aperture where many balls are placed on a mesh and is supplied with rare earth magnetic compound powder. CONSTITUTION:Rare earth magnetic compound power 4 is supplied in a hopper 3 which has a bottom aperture where many balls 2 are placed on a mesh. The size of the ball 2 is greater than the size of the mesh. The hopper 3 is vibrated and the powder 4 is filled in a metal mold which is placed appropriately for the hopper 3. For example, a rare earth magnetic compound ingot wherein Sm and the total of Co, Fe, Cu, Zr and 1:7.5 in atomic ratio is roughly crushed and then ground by a jet mill to be made minute powder of mean grain diameter 4mum. The minute powder is partially coherent and consists of several mm size or greater lumps. The minute powder is supplied in the hopper 3 shown in the drawing, the hopper 3 is vibrated by an external vibrator and the magnetic powder is filled in the metal mold uniformly. |
