PURPOSE:To realize stable reproducing operation against external vibrations with an on-vehicle disk player, by supporting a disk reproducing mechanism with a vibration damping mechanism to a housing, and providing a means which moves a pickup to a prescribed address when track jumping occurs in addition to an electric means by means of a tracking servo system. CONSTITUTION:A chassis 7 is supported by a housing 2 through a vibration damping member 8. Especially, in the case of a player system equipped with a tracking servo system which makes positional control in the radial direction to a disk at the information reading point of a pickup 215, a counter 222 which makes the counting operation at a fixed cycle and successively outputs expected address information indicating the next moving address of the pickup 215 in the course of play and a detecting circuit 223 which always collates the latest address information from an address memory 212 to the expected address information from the counter 222 and, when they become discordant with each other, generates an output during the play, are provided in a host microcomputer 200, and thus, a pickup moving mechanism 216 is driven and controlled.
