PURPOSE:To produce a magnetic bubble memory package so that a defect of only some part of a chip exerts evil influence upon other areas without reducing the memory capacity greatly by specifying the shape of the driving coil of a high-density bubble chip. CONSTITUTION:If one (hatched in figure) of four 1M blocks which from a 4M bit bubble chip 21 becomes defective owing to new creation, etc., an inside Y coil with characteristics shown in graphs (a) and (b) is only used correspondingly. Consequently, a revolving magnetic field to the defective block is reduced in one direction (Y direction) and the influence of the defective block to be exerted upon other blocks is suppressed. |
