PURPOSE:To reduce man-hours necessary for preparatory plan, by providing a plurality of cutting jigs on a rotary plate, selecting the dividing jigs, inserting a ceramic substrate, and compressing and cutting the substrate in a lever fashion. CONSTITUTION:A first dividing jig 23 is constituted so that the distance between a supporting plate 30A and a contact surface 32A equals a width (a) of an end member of a ceramic substrate 1. Second dividing jigs 24, 25 and 26 are constituted so that the distances equal widths (b), (c) and (d) of the other end members of the ceramic substrate 1. The first dividing jig 23 is selected. The ceramic substrate 1 is inserted to a chin part until the side edge of the ceramic substrate 1, which is in parallel with the X axis, is contacted with the contact surface 32A. The end member is cut by a dividing line and separated. Then a rotary plate 22 is rotated, and the end members are separated by the dividing lines of the second, third and fourth dividing jigs. |
