PURPOSE:To produce high voltage and high output power without decreasing combining efficiency by obtaining intermittent output by superposing alternating signals on generated electromotive force, thereby reducing the power loss of an electric circuit. CONSTITUTION:When the emitter 1a of a thermion generating element 1 is heated and the collector 1b is cooled, a DC electromotive force is generated between both electrodes, and the signal is supplied to the primary coil 4b of a transformer 4. Since an alternating signal from a power source 5 is superposed and supplied to the signal, currents flowed to the coils 4b, 4c become intermittent half- waveform synchronized with the signal period of the power source 5, and an intermittent voltage is induced in the coil 4c. |
