PURPOSE:To enhance buckling strength without lowering flexibility, by forming hose elements with both ends of a cylindrical object made of rigid material formed into sliding surfaces with convex and concave sphericity respectively, and connecting many hose elements successively by jointing above-mentioned sliding surfaces in order. CONSTITUTION:A driving force transmission wire 1 is inserted through a wire- insertion hole 3 of a hose 2. As for many cylindrical hose components 4 forming the hose 2, a perforating hole 6 is bored in the center of a sphere 5 made of rigid material, and a larger-diameter section 6a conically fanning outward is formed at one end of the perforating hole 6. The peripheral residual portion of the sphere 5 at the earlier-mentioned end of the perforating hole 6 becomes a convex spherical sliding surface 7, and the other end of the perforating hole 6 is wrought into a convex spherical sliding surface 8 to fit the above-mentioned sliding surface 7. And sliding surfaces 7, 8 of adjoining hose components 4 are connected together allowing sliding movement in order to constitute a flexible hose 2. |
