<p>PURPOSE:To uniform working operation pressure in a weighting detection type coordinate input device by adding output signals generated from respective force detectors by an adder, finding out the sum of the force detecting signals, and when the sum exceeds a reference value, detecting the coordinates by regarding that external force sufficient for the detection of the coordinates has been applied. CONSTITUTION:Since the output values generated from respective force detectors 2a-2c are increased by gradually increasing external force G, the total added value outputted from the adder 8 is increased. Finally, the total added value exceeds the reference Vr1 and the output signal of a comparator 9 is inverted from ''L'' to ''H'' analog switch circuits 6a-6c are turned on, so that the coordinates of an external force impressing point P are found out. Only when the output signal of the adder 8 exceeds the reference value Vr1, an arithmetic circuit 7 executes operation for finding out the external force impressing point. Since the output signal of the adder 8 is the sum of outputs of respective force detectors, the arithmetic operation for finding out the external force impressing point will be executed when the external force values F, G exceed a value corresponding to the reference value Vr1.</p> |
