<p>An explosive mine incorporating together with an electrical detonator a delay circuit and a command circuit, is designed so that the delay circuit is adjusted for a relatively long period (e.g. 5 mins.) and is associated with a return to zero circuit having as its function the annulment of this delay. The functions of the delay, ignition and command circuits are: the emission of a first electrical impulse for ignition with a delay w.r.t. the instant of arming; the emission of a second ignition impulse in case of shock to the mine; and the emission of a definite ignition instruction after the reception of the second impulse after the first impulse. In addn., an anti-mine-clearing system is provided. This consists of an assemblage contg. a pressure plate, an inhibition circuit and an activation circuit. The pressure plate acts in conjunction with an electrical switch which closes when a pressure greater than a fixed value acts on the plate. The inhibition circuit is activated by the closure of the switch to annual the delay period of the delay circuit. The activation circuits actuates directly the electrical detonator when the time of closing of the switch is greater than a pre-established max. value. The improved mine lends itself to use in all cases, such as laying from terrestrial vehicles, laying or arming manually or launching from helicopters. The anti-mine-clearing system prevents undesirable explosion due to the mine being rolled or moved by strong air currents.</p> |
