PURPOSE:To identify easily whether a dial press working is defective or non-defective from the presence or absence of a printed part by printing the circular printed part onto a base material for the dial and blanking the dial. CONSTITUTION:Small centering guide holes 9 are pierced in the same manner as conventional one to the base material 6 for the dial subjected to printing and the holes 9 are inserted to the projecting parts on a die, by which the material 6 is positioned. The base material is thereupon blanked by pressing in the position 10a of an inside diametral hole and the position of an outside periphery 10b, by which the dial 10 is formed. The printed part 11 does not appear on the dial 10 and the adverse influence arising from the provision of the part 11 is obviated when the variance of the press working is within a permissible range. The peripheral part of the part 11 remains on the dial 10 and is visible when the variance deviates beyond the permissible range. The easy screening and identification of a defective and non-defective product by the operator from the presence or absence of the printed part 11 remaining to the finished dial 10 are thus made possible. |
