PURPOSE:To improve the quality of a clad material and to extend the life of a bushing member by forming essentially said member of at least >=1 kinds among zirconia, silicon carbide and silicon nitride ceramics. CONSTITUTION:The bushing member A is formed of the ceramic material consisting substantially and essentially of at least >=1 kinds among the zirconia, silicon carbide and silicon nitride ceramics. The member A is calcined of the pulverous powder consisting of several mu - fractions of ten mu. The bushing A is constituted of the pulverous powder and therefore such splinters which induce repture during working do not stick to a core material 5a in the stage of forming a molten metal 6 as a coating layer 5b on the member 5a by passing said material through the bushing A. The quality of the clad material 5 is thus improved. The ceramics are highly resistance to heat and wear and therefore the life of the member A is extended.
