SETTING SYSTEM FOR DATA LINK

摘要

PURPOSE:To reduce the load on the CPU of an exchange by detecting the bit string of a specific pattern sent as respective LSBs from the transmission system of the opposite party terminal controller in communication. CONSTITUTION:An LSB monitoring part 51 detects the transmission of the bit string of the specific pattern from the transmission system and then knows directly without any intervention of a CPU that the opposite party requests data transmission. Then, data and signals are transferred to and from a data terminal through an interface 63 and a switch 73 is switched at the lower-side contact under the command of an MPU22. Consequently, a data link is set and the terminal gets ready to receive a data signal.
