FIELD: engineering of equipment for automating comminution of materials in milling plants, possible use in metallurgical, chemical, concrete, diamond, building and other industry branches having to do with comminution of materials. ^ SUBSTANCE: in accordance to invention, method for controlling comminution of materials in a milling plant includes adjusting values of material load and transport substance flow with the goal of optimizing at least one controlled parameter, represented by specific electric energy cost of material comminution, while as an additional controlled optimization parameter productivity of milling plant with given class of comminuted material is determined. To optimize controlled parameters and to achieve maximum productivity at minimum energy cost, controlled overload of milling plant is periodically induced during material comminuting, and the value of maximum milling plant load at any time of its operation is determined, while at all times transporting substance is supplied to milling plant, amount mts of which is calculated using a formula disclosed in the invention. ^ EFFECT: expanded functional capabilities, increased responsiveness, improved optimization of material comminution process. ^ 2 cl |
