The method for treating the pathologies of periodontium comprises the sanation of the oral cavity, the removal of the dental deposits, and, when necessary, the correction of the traumatic occlusion, the splinting of the movable teeth, and the curettage of the parodontal pouches. The antibacterial drugs, the anti-inflammatory drugs, and the preparation facilitating osteogenesis are used for the treatment. The washing of the oral cavity with the solution containing the extract of the cinquefoil, the chestnut, the milfoil, and the celandine for 3-7 minutes is indicated in combination with the acupuncture reflex therapy involving the local biologically active points E 3, E 8, VG 26 and the distant points GI 4, GI 7, GI 11.
