Method for division of numbers by two in system of residual classes includes formal division of stored, for instance at resisters, residuals of dividend by residuals of divisor by all the modules except of module two, and storing, for instance on registers, of obtained residuals of ratio. One performs subtraction from residuals obtained of ratio by modules by any, except of module two, for instance by larger of modules, with storing, for instance at first supplementary registers, of obtained residuals of difference. Then one determines relation of that difference to given range of numbers are storing, for instance at second supplementary register, of zero in case of relation, or one in opposite case, as reduced residual by module two, and real residual of ratio by module two is obtained according to given formula depending on residual of ratio being subtracted and reduced residual by module two.
