<p>End-piece for slide clasp fasteners has the form of a resilient releasable fastener comprising a base portion intersecting a pair of clamping members extending integrally from the base portion and clamping together the coupling members and tape carriers of the slide clasp fastener, which are passed through an opening dimensioned such that on the one hand its size permits passage of the tape carriers and on the other hand the width contributes to resilient clamping of the carrier tapes. Used as concealed slide clasp fasteners attached to carpets, blankets or stretch covers. Slides which are unsightly, bulky and can lead to damage of the article or floor in the case of carpets are dispensed with, whilst parting of the ends of tape carriers is prevented.</p> |
