PURPOSE:To make it possible to provide an image with almost the same density to all of characters, by providing current supply time data, which is optimum to one dot of a character, at every character and performing printing while changing a head current supply time at every character corresponding to said data. CONSTITUTION:The printing time corresponding to a lateral one dot in printing a character is set to T1 and a character pattern part corresponding to lateral 15 dots is provided at every character. A header part is provided to the lead address and a number of informations corresponding to a head current supply time are inputted to said header part. For example, four kinds of head current supply times are set and T1a, T1b, T1c, T1d are allowed to correspond to HEADER2= 0, 1, 2, 3. When T1a>T1b>T1c>T1d and HEADER2=0, a head current supply time is longest and, at the time of 3, said time is shortest. Because the printing time T1 corresponding to one dot is made constant and interruption timing during this time T is changed corresponding to a character and the head current supply time can be changed, a specific character is printed at high density without being conspicious and density is made uniform and printing quality is enhanced. |
