PURPOSE:To eliminate the wastefulness of paper without performing the unnecessary renewal of a page, by allowing a paper feed controller to perform control not performing paper feed when a counter receives a page renewal command. CONSTITUTION:A command analyser 1 analyzes the command sent from the main body to which this printer apparatus is connected and a paper feed controller 2 drives a paper feed apparatus 6 on the basis of the switching state of an operation switch 3, the command sent from the command analyser 1 and the counter value of a line counter 4. The operation switch 3 is operated by an operater and select either one of a state 1 for feeding paper unconditionally by a page renewal command and a state 2 performing no unnecessary paper feed even if receiving the page renewal command. When the state 2 is selected, the value of the line counter 4 is checked and, when there is no state 2, the paper feed controller 2 performs no page renewal control. therefore, the wasteful consumption of paper by unnecessary page renewal can be avoided. |
