PURPOSE:To shorten an assembly time and increase joint strength by assembling the magnet roll substantially mechanically by using spacer in a specific shape which deform elastically. CONSTITUTION:Spacers 31 and 32 have a circumferential projection part 5 on the outer peripheral surface of a cylindrical part 4 and a collar part 6 at one end, and an expanding slot 7 is formed lengthwise. The external diameter d1 of the cylindrical part 4 is smaller than the internal diameter dm of a cylindrical permanent magnet and the maximum diameter d2 of the circumferential projection part is larger than the dm. When the roll is assembled, the spacer 31 is inserted into one end part of the cylindrical permanent magnet 1 as shown by, for example, an arrow (x), a shaft 2 is inserted into the spacer 31 as shown by the arrow (x) to penetrate the cylindrical permanent magnet 1, and then the spacer 32 is inserted into the other end part of the permanent magnet 1, i.e. as shown by an arrow (y). In this case, the spacers have the expanding slots 7, so the spacers deform elastically and the circumferential projection part 5 is reduced in diameter and fitted in the gap between the permanent magnet 1 and shaft 2. |
