PURPOSE:To hold an indication at OFF time of a power source and to enable an indication with good accuracy of the liquid surface level by providing an output correcting circuit driving with a constant current a driving electromagnetic coil of an indicator connecting driving and braking electromagnetic coils in series. CONSTITUTION:A pointer is deflected to the position balancing the electromagnetic force generated by the current of a driving electromagnetic coil 31 and the electromagnetic force generated by a braking electromagnetic coil 32 in an indicator D, also has no spring and so holds the indication as it is in case of the power source being off. The carelessness of causing a fuel shortage is therefore reduced. An output correcting circuit is provided between an L-V converting circuit and the indicator D for utilizing the characteristic of the indicator D as it is. Then the conditions to make 100% indication at filling up time and 0% indication of no fuel with controlling by a constant current the coil 31 and with adjusting the L-V converting characteristic in linearity and the characteristic of the indicator D are made and the regulation is performed so as to obtain a linearity within the range thereof. |
