PURPOSE:To improve the safety of ignition operation by a structure wherein the amount of pilot flame optimum for ignition is led to an infrared burner. CONSTITUTION:A pilot burner 2 for ignition of an infrared burner 1 is fixed to a fixed plate 3 by means of a screw 6. A guide plate 3a to guide a pilot flame to an ignition opening 4a and a slit 3b are provided by upright-shaving a portion of the upper fixed plate 3 ahead the flame port of the pilot burner 2. The flame of the pilot burner 2 ignited by an ignition plug 5 is guided by the guide plate 3a in the direction toward the infrared burner 1. In addition, secondary air is supplied through the slit 3b, resulting in spreading the width of flame upwards so as to guide the amount of pilot flame optimum for ignition through the ignition opening 4a to the infrared burner 1. Consequently, the ignition of the infrared burner is surely realized. |
