PURPOSE:To expand the operating range of pile driving by a method in which a cross girder is almost orthogonally crossed and connected with base girders in such a way that the tip girder is set in the vicinity of the boundary line where piles are to be driven. CONSTITUTION:A cross girder 31 with a tip girder 32 orthogonally crossed with one end of the girder 31 is set to be almost orthogonally crossed with base girders 4 in such a way that the tip girder 32 is positioned in the vicinity of the boundary line where piles are to be driven. A sheave support frame 12 is then transferred from the upside of the girders 4 to the upside of the girder 32, and weights 33 and 34 are put on the girder 32. In driving piles in the vicinity of the boundary line, a pile is erected in the space of the girder 32, a coping 2 is put on the top of the pile 36, and the pile 36 is penetrated into the ground. Piles can thus be driven in the vicinity of the boundary line by utilizing the conventional pile driver. |
