PURPOSE:To protect an artifical islet by setting an ice pressure-resistant caisson with an inclined face toward outside on the surrounding of the existing artificial islet. CONSTITUTION:A concrete caisson 7 with an inclined face 7a toward outside is set on the outside of the inclined face 6 of an existing artificial islet 1 and fixed by banking soil 10 or land-filling sand 11. Since the ice blocks 12 coming to the artificial islet 1 can be broken by the inclined face 7a of the caisson 7, the inclined face 6 of the islet 1 can be protected. |
