PURPOSE:To improve the action performance of the clutch control by defining >=80% of a projected part into a car room as a shift lever knob and securing the actuation of an automatic clutch switch. CONSTITUTION:A shift lever mechanism of a change gear with an automatic clutch is provided with a shift knob 9, a shift lever 10 enclosed by the knob 9, a spherical shift lever support part 20 and a shift lever selection part 16 coupled to a groove part 15 of a shift/selection linkage 14. The knob 9 contains a cylindrical part 91 which encloses the lever 10 as well as pushing and pulling contact walls 96 and 97 that have contacts with switches S1 and S2 to turn off these switches. The lever 10 contains electrodes 10a1, 10a2 and 10b of switches S1 and S2 and has a monolithic structure comprising a small diameter part 10e, a large diameter part 10f and the selection part 16. This monolithic structure is projected by >=80% into a car room. |
