PURPOSE:To detect an origin automatically with high precision by monitoring a process in which coordinates of a mounted detection piece are detected successively and a process in which coordinates of an optional position on a panel are calculated from the detected coordinates of the detection piece. CONSTITUTION:A detector monitors the process in which the mounted detection piece 23 is detected successively and the process in which the coordinates of the optional position on the panel 21 are calculated from the detected coordinates of the detection piece 23. Then the mean value of X coordinate values of voltages for deciding an end part of the detection piece 23 is calculated to obtain the X-axial coordinate of the center position of the detection piece 23. On the other hand, the mean value of Y coordinates of voltage values for deciding on its end part is calculated to obtain the Y-axial coordinate of the center position. Thus, two origin positions on the panel 21 are detected automatically with high precision. |
